After watching the second crash at Le Mans today reminded me of this video and how safety was introduced to the drivers seat

It's a sad, but thruthful look at what tracks thought of drivers in the day, expendable for their revenue. I'm suprised they didn't show Lauda's Nurburgring crash that melted his face off, and was the last race around the original circuit.

I watched it twice as well. I saw the introduction and I was hooked. Thought circle track and drag racing was crazy back then? These open wheel cars were rediculous
