4L60E/700 R4 question

I have a 2WD 1993 C1500 p/u that came with a 4L60E trans in it. I switched to a 700 R4 when I changed to a carbed motor to keep from having to get a stand alone control unit for the 4L60E.

Problem is the speedo won't work. Besides swapping over to a reluctor wheel and sending unit from a 4l60E and putting them in the 700 R4 is there any other way or parts to use to get the speedo to work using the 700R4?

I know this isn't a Camaro but I figured someone may have done this on a Camaro or on another vehicle.
