This happened Tuesday night. I spoke with him Wednesday night and he didn't sound any stranger than usual.

im fine. im no longer stationed at drum. just up here for national guard training for 2 weeks. i am in the 50th bct which is state wide. we stood out in the rain at our little training area during that storm. it was another company from my battalion that was hit by lightning. they were about 3 miles from us.. i wish it was us....id be back in nj.... or not here still at least.
ps. i love how people realize i never was, or will be ok lmao

Found out tonight that one of my "friends" was one of the people who got struck. He's fine, though his phone took a beating.
