New Vararam intake installed on the G8
Looks like it should work well. Sounds pretty good and I'll be looking to get some track times to see if it really is an improvement.

Yea that intake was just a hold me over while I was actually trying to work on building a unit very very similar to this for the car. That never happened due to simple resource constraints i.e. don't own a thermoforming machine.

I actually did not sell it yet. It's sitting in a box and I want to see how this performs before I sell it. If this intake does not perform (doubtful), then I should have no issue reselling it. There is a 80+ person waiting list for it on some G8 boards.

haha...80 some people. You should get into the business of selling them and make some money...hell give me the plans and I'll start making them and you get 20% profit share lol. Let me know when your hitting the track...also looking for a reason to go.

Believe me that was the plan but sometimes things get in the way. Oh well.
Hopefully I will get around to producing the HID headlights just like I have on my firebird.

Nice, Brian. Do you feel the tune needs to be tweaked at all? Mine is suppose to ship late this week or early next week.

Throttle response feels sharper and it pulls pretty well on the highway. Considering I have a tune on the car for the old intake, I prob. really don't need one however being a perfectionist...I will take the car for a retune just to make sure it's spot on.
TTP is having a dyno day in April which I may attend to just get a new baseline on the car.
