Head unit install kit

My car again is having an issue with the monsoon system so I'm just going to go aftermarket. I purchased a Scosche GM1516 mounting kit but it does not fit my trans am. I was on the phone with sonic electronix and they said there are several different kits that may work with my car. Does anyone know what mounting kit I need?

I just got a standard universal one like you have with no problems. I still have the old one from my 96 im not using anymore.
