Good news for you 4l60 guys
Energy suspension has finally come up with a poly trans mount for the 4th gen camaros with the 4l60(m30) trans. They are pouring the mounts as we speak and are available for order(eventhough it will take a month to get, bc they are still making them). The part number is 3.1142G/R. G for black and R for red.
I already have my order in and might be the first to get one!! So get'em up guys!!

Yup, it's a new part for 2012. New enough to not even have a designation in Summit's database. I think the universal one will still "work" but this one is specific to the f-car and it's tendency to bust mounts.

Same. Spoke with Jeff.
Different shape, they played around with the durometer of the material, has a slight offset, and leverages the interlocking feature better.

Yes I can read, but can you test to verify they actually changed something and this is not a marketing ploy?

I bet its twice as expensive as the polys that have been out. Its probably also a lower durometer than the polys out now since everyone complains about the extra vibration, which would mean the current polys would still be better from a performance perspective.

I do not have one in my hand, so no. Only pictures out on the web.
Seeing as how people break the existing poly mounts with pretty stock setups I'd say something is not quite right with the universal ones.

Break rubber ones? Yes. Polys? Never heard of it.
I bet it has one threaded hole instead of 3.

Got a way to test poly hardness at your work?

It's a product for 82-02 cars. It does remain to be seen how well they will sell but I can't imagine that they are too expensive to make.
