Thought this would fix the voltage issues at idle. Guess not. Bum Delco alt it is I guess. Powermaster ordered....
Headlight motors cooked. Aluminum gears ordered. Need to help the TTop seals not leak now. |

I don't remember LT1 headlight motors being this much of a bitch to remove. The back bolt is awful.

Went to put in power Master alt and forgot about the 1 wire plug on the back and ripped it out of the harness. Whoops.
New plug replaced. Swapped alt and connected the optional m8 aux ground from alt to ground on driver's side fender. Alternator is now steady at all RPMs. Delco one I got a warranty replacement if anyone needs one. Alignment done, front end is now perfect. Listed for sale for kicks to see what I could get for it, was debating on an ats-v or Cts-v so I could haul everyone around while having fun. So torn on what to do considering the TA is in good shape Till then, I'm dailying the TA |
