Without "messing up" your car, I'd say look into the "Show-N-Go" bracket.

*edit*
You, and your ninja post, suck.

thanks mike ... looks like its time to spend a little money

i'd go with electric. Its similar to a cutout, everytime you want to move it, you dont want to be getting down on the ground.

Also because of the shape of the nose you have to put it off center.

I don't, I just get speeding tickets. I have a feeling the OP might have been doing something else to warrant such interaction with a LEO.

Mine is off center but I don't have to "get down on the ground." Its very accessible in the standing posture.

Since this topic is up how do you remove the front plate cover on birds without jacking it or the bumper up? I've searched on tech but we all know how bad that function is..

shadowfire 02-16-2012 01:39 PM

well some good news i just order the plate bracket from the dealer 40. dollars and the tinted widow ticket is only 54. dollars so at least tommorow i can put on the front plate and pay the ticket :headbang:

if its from the dealer your going to have to drill into the car... I thought you didnt want to do that

I have a front bracket from the dealer i would have sold you for 20 lol its just sitting in my closet... it makes the car look buck toothed, it comes lose after a while and its just ... a pain...

that is the factory one drilled into the front just under where it says "SS". Its an old pic. Thats another reason i hated the plate, it covers the "SS" i actually had the bracket on upside down so it would cover it less. Ive since took it off and now it just doesnt have a front plate.

if i decide to ever get one tho i would go for the show and go.

btw what town did you get pulled over for the tints?

jam01 02-17-2012 05:18 AM

i have the mount from slp, it doesnt cover the grill. but i do like the show n go also.

shadowfire 02-17-2012 01:48 PM

well its still not right ... the braket does not fit at all i would have to drill holes in the car ... the whole thing is bull#$#$ ...

coolmanvette75 02-17-2012 03:10 PM

Should have gotten the show n go bracket...

WildBillyT 02-17-2012 03:26 PM

You can make a bracket with some metal stock from Home Depot. It does not have to look hacked, either.

shadowfire 02-17-2012 04:03 PM
