if its not a major issue take out the sparkplugs ...

as for the torqe converter when you put it on the shaft & spin clockwise there should be 3 seperate clicks or "drops-in" 3...

You have to turn the motor

as above use a prybar & turn it from under or use a deepsocket & turn the crank bolt to spin the motor to get to the other bolts.
it wont spin "In Nutral" if thats what your thinking your bolting to...
