so on the s10 forum i see a lot of people having problems with their rag joints. it jogged my memory of seeing people having similar problems on their LT1s and how they get the rag joint eliminator....

hm so today i popped the hood to take the disconnect the battery, and when i put the wrench on the positive bolt, i saw little sparks. i've never really seen that before.

interesting because last week i got a new battery for the truck (it wasnt that cold) and now my moms battery is dead (on its way out last week) and last night i discovered the camaro's battery dead....

and i just figured that with my LS1 w/ a 4l60e and 3.23 gears that gets 18-19 consistently, if i had a 4.8 with a 5 or 6 speed, i'd get at least 20

the S10s with the 2.2L from what i've seen get 22-24...

weighs about 3300

so i've been thinking of engines to swap into my S10, it would be a daily driver so fuel economy is by far more of a concern...
