			Poop on you alex.
Thanks for the love guys. Nitto NT05s are shipped. Gonna get them mounted as soon as they arrive and then bolted on the car as soon as it comes back from JS Performance.

Nittos:

I've had Kumhos, ET Streets, F1s, and NT05s on this car. The NT05s have been my favorite thus far, mainly because of their versatility.

			They are Fikse FM5s.
Mike- what makes them versatile? I currently have Falken Azenis and they are fantastic. Great in the rain, gripped fantastic, and looked good. I'm hoping that these will be similar at least.

Rich- thanks man. I usually don't get that alot because of how quiet the car is (relatively!). I'm real excited about this clutch. I'm hoping the break in period passes quickly.

By the way, my cousin saw your car last week. He loved it and complimented the exhaust note. Said it was very loud and sounded awesome.

And I suppose you are right, but I am still yet to hear a cammed car nearly as quiet as mine. I hate loud cars.

I have no experience with the Falken Azenis, so I can't compare to them. I'm sure someone else knows though, and will chime in. But, what I do know is that the NT05s hooked well enough on the street, they handled *great*, they had a better treadwear than the ET Streets, looked good (although that wasn't much of a concern of mine), and weren't bad in the rain whenever I drove them--granted, I don't drive the car in the rain often, and if I do, I don't do anything stupid.

Hope that helps. Gonna PM you some time this week, BTW. Keep an eye on your inbox!

Same exhaust, but with a similar sized (lower lift though) TTP cam. For a cammed car, it is pretty quiet. Nothing like my old Corsa which sounded like a machine gun.

One step closer. I now only have to put the car in the air to replace the brake pads (glazed from the HPDE), brake fluid (cooked from the HPDE), and power steering fluid (most of it is in my engine bay); then finally adjust the parking brake and then throw the wheels on. Hoping to have all that done on Thursday.

On a side note, I picked up my car from Josh yesterday and that new clutch is a monster. I put 125 miles on it last night, and I can feel it breaking in quite a bit, but it still has quite a ways to break in. There is no way to describe it other than it is just a monster.

 | If I remember correctly they are about $2500 new for a set of 17's but you can find them used every once in awhile for between 1500-2000 depending on condition.

Wheels are not on the car, and here is why:
My cousin's 2011 SS. We picked it up from a dealer in Livingston on Thursday evening. We've been cruising around all weekend. He's my right hand man (or my "mini-me" as an old lady friend used to call him) and I'm sure he got it to follow in my footsteps. Naturally, it was a big deal for me.

 | Sold my CTS-V caliper setup to get wheels like these. I really wanted CCW Classics, but these were too good to pass up.

Thanks for the love man

Thanks for the love man | I was under the assumption with a small spacer you can fit the V calipers behind the FM5's

I spoke to a guy in closter that was putting the same wheels on his Fbody and he was going to make it work!

Either way... Thats SUPER sweet! Cant wait to see more pics!
