It's a balmy 55 degrees in my house now, loving every minute of it.

I think my wife would divorce me if I tried that. 68 is the lowest I can set the thermostat before I start getting dirty looks.

67° is perfect. Barefoot on tile at 52°? Goosebumps just thinking about it!
Girlfriend freezes at anything below 73. It's a regular tiff year round.

When I was down in Forked River the other weekend I didn't bother to raise the heat (Set it at 50 year round) or turn on the hot water. After a day of riding in 20 mph winds and 57 degree water, I took a nice cold shower and woke up the next morning to a 52 degree house in shorts and a t-shirt. Love it

I'm having a hard time getting used to the cold this year.. but I did enjoy seeing flurries yesterday

You need heat for your drive to work? You don't REALLY like the cold then  I put the defrost on in the car for ice/condensation only, then heat goes off.

Remote start, defrosters, heat, seats & steering on. Cold leather at 5:30AM is up there with AIDS and Stubbed Toes on The List Of Most Horrible Things In The World.

Yes, my 10 minute commute is much nicer with an engine not sub 90* that rattles like a mofo.
Heat comes on for the defroster but mainly for the quiet engine

62 in my house...71 downstairs w/the woodstove on. Remote start w/the heated seats on in the am...bam=tolerable.
