Manual Guys
What after market shifter are you guys using?
Im not sure because I remember theirs a love hate thing with mustang people when it comes to Pro-5.0 or B&M ripper.
I was leaning towards the pro-5.0 for price.

the Pro 5-0 owns the T56 market, it's your best bet

i have an early hurst, its slightly bent at 2in before the ball so its about 5-6in away from the steering wheel (if i make a fist between them, i have about a half inch play to either). Very short, clean shifts always, and after it i've never had the famous 3rd gear miss. I'm sure the pro5.0 works similarly well, but my experience with the hurst is flawless.

I also have a Hurst short-throw. Granted, it's on a T5 in a Monte, but I like it just the same.
A friend has a Pro 5.0 on a T56 in his Monte, and it's nice, but he had some issues with it initially.

I'm using the Hurst and love it. Not too tight, not loose at all. It has a great feel and even though the leather wrapped hurst knob doesnt look all that fantastic, it feels the best (I buy new shift knobs often and always change back to the hurst due to feel)

I have a Ripper in one car and a factory Hurst in the other. The ripper owns the Hurst all the way, but the Hurst (or a Pro 5.0) would be VERY nice with a LSS.

Anyone ever use the SLP short shifer. You have to re-use your stock stick or get a LSS. Its only $99. It crossed my eyes.
