Hey I don't have any plans but I'd like to see what everyone comes up with. I'm looking to put 2 10's in the trunk of my car with an amp and still have room for the t-tops

Paul, I'm guessing that the only way you could pull that off cleanly would be to mount them in the spare tire well and rear glove box.

I should be able to fit the speakers down in the storage well in the back. That's currently where my bass tube resides.

bass hits loudest in our cars facing up towards the hatch window... its actually ~3x louder facing up in the hatch, then having them in the backseat.

I made a shelf that fits in the cargo well, down low were it steps in. Fits great and lots of room. Will try to get a pic posted. Looks good, 2 10"s. upholstered it in black. added some stylin' brushed aluminum handles from home depot. I mocked it up in cardboard before I started so it fits good. It's not airtight but Damn! it's close (I wouldn't keep a cat under it, not one I liked anyway) and I didn't have to cut or drill anything on the car.-Mike

I'll have pics of the box I built up in a week or two. It's a sealed box that holds 2 10's and sits low enough to fit the t-tops in the bag without them resting on the subs. It also fits tight all the way around the cargo area so it looks like the trunk floor is all once piece without the well.
