Quick question....
As much as this is f body nationals...... are there any classes open to people who have broken f bodies and they bring their beaters to race instead??
That would actually be kinda funny.
A category named "Broken f body"
Rules:
1) The person must have proof of owning an f body
2) It must be legit regarding the broken factor
3) Person must race their beater/ daily driver
4) Beater/ daily driver cannot be faster than their f body
What do you think??

maybe another year or maybe as another event. not like it would make a big difference to you jim, your car doesn't fall under the rules we have established around here for beaters, namely costing one paycheck(no more than $1000). the benz hardly falls into that catagory.
i think JL8Jeff has the ringer though, since his 69 is technically "broken" during restoration that would put your benz against his "beater" camaro SS. lol

I was thinking along the same lines. I've got my '69 in resto so my beater would be the GTP.

You can't put a price on a beater.
My neon was my beater for a while.... it was over $1000.
Benz's can be beaters.... that's how I roll!
