neither. Go with 3.90s. A jump from 3.42's to 3.73s just isn't worth it, and 4.10s are great, but if you do a lot of hwy travelling your mpg will hurt. 3.90s give you a nice jump in acceleration while still retaining some kind of good hwy mpg.

i have 4:10s in my car and with the manual 6 i get 21mpg highway and at about 80mph im at about 2100rpms so its not crazy loud with exhaust. my vote is for the 4:10's

you could recalibrate your computer with a little hand held tuner. tranny shops could have the speedo gear. i would do 4.10's out of the two.

But I believe with the LT1's powerband, 3.90's would be a better choice. But, since your getting a deal, go with the 4.10's.

the hypertech is answering yes and no questions and entering gear size and rear tire diameter. double check off of a buddies car or gps though.

you can do that or you can change the speedo gear to make up for the gears

eh i've never had luck with speedo gears. i would inquire at a local trans shop though. they are cheap and you might find someone with more experience.

I thought the speedo change was only for 93s?
And look on ebay, a lot of people dump the hypercraps on there.

you think correctly, you cant "change a gear" on 94+ cars, they need to be tuned

Yea, you could prob benefit from a "real" tune vs. the hypertech thing.

im gunna be the guy who says 3.73...everytime i look on my wall i say no more 4.10...i have my litterally bald ring gear and my sheared in half pinion mounted on my wall with a plaque that says this is why i dont race corvettes...but anyway the 4.10 in a 10 bolt is too fragile...if you plan on putting some power to the ground later on get the 3.73 for now and save up for a 12 bolt
