I atleast want to get my car to the track and NOT have to put 2 more motors in....I do have plans for a few small upgrades... get a custom cam, LTCC, GMMG, and a good set of heads(better then my stock ported),58mm TB, a set of radials, and rebuild my trans.

Gears..... and headers finally......mid 11s in the normal air, right on the edge of rollbar territory. Don't want to put a bar in it. But after seeing how well that plate kit works that is so tempting!

#1. 373's -*done (thanks Devin )
#2. SS4000 converter -*on the way
#3. 315 35 17 Drag radials -* done
#4. L/T headers and Y *(soon )
#5. BMR Torque arm -*on the way
#6. Full Tune
Just got to figure out what cam and springs to get .
So much for this not being a "Drag Race Car "
Its an ADDICTION that I though I out grew .

You'll never out grow this addiction Its always gonna be there. What makes it so bad is how fast you can go with very few mods in these cars. That just make you wonder "what if I add this, how much faster will it go?"

I just want a clean pass this year to see where i'm even at. I tried to run it with 18s and street tires and had a fail of a time. I think my 3rd gen would best what the 4th gen did that night. We will see.

I'm a little late to the party, but uh...
I've got a few racing goals. Primarily, I wanna get the car consistent and get the driver competitive. I want to run top 4 in Englishtown's Saturday points series. I'd like to get the invite to the NHRA bracket finals in the fall, as well as an invite to do some exhibitions at Englishtown's thrill shows. I'd also like to see an 11 second time slip. Current best is 12.28, have only been to the track one weekend with the car. I absolutely want to grab an event win this year with the Camaro. I think the hardest part will be getting myself competitive quickly. Early in the year, I think I'll be going to a lot of Englishtown's Friday night stuff for seat time when I'm not working. It's maybe a 2 mile round trip, so why not... haha.

1. Run points in street at Cecil with the Mustang. Goal is a top 5 finish.
2. Run pro a Cecil (not sign up for points for that class) with the Mustang. Goal is to gain seat time and get to the 3rd round or better for each event.
3. Run points in street and pro with the Formula at Maple Grove. Goal is a top 5 finish in each class.
4. Run the big money footbreak races with the Formula at Cecil, Maple Grove, and Atco. Goal is to get to the quarter finals or better in each race.
5. A double win. (Win both classes on the same day).
6. A win at the Div 1 ET Finals.
7. A win at Pomona.

lol. Div 1 finals are at Del-Mar (US 13) this year. I wouldn't stand a chance grudge racing you (heads up). I have the Mustang set to run 14.0's at 100mph and the Formula to go 12.0's at 118mph. I may have to rethink some goals. The track schedules just came out and there are 7 races that conflict between Maple and Cecil. I may just run the Formula at Cecil until Maple opens. Maple is redoing the track surface and won't open until May 8th. The beer does sound like a great goal.

Nah, not heads up, dial'em in and lets go racing. But it gotta be F-bods. I could never live down getten beaten on by a furd!
I don't know what class I'm running until I see what the car has in it. I'd pretty sure with 7lb pulleys I can hold it at 11.50 and run street. Pro would be more fun, if the car (and driver) are very consistent and I let them try to run me down?
Goals for this year is simple: Not being in the lanes for buybacks!

Being beaten by a furd. Well last 3 elimination rounds the near stock furd went 13.630, 13.631, and a loosing 13.629 flat out all on a 13.63 dial. Last run I took .015 stripe on a 9.50 car and broke out by .001. The 9.50 car gave me the stripe by accident (I ain't that good on the top end against that fast of a car).
You might want to sign up for street and also run pro. That will give you more seat time. I actually do a lot better in Pro backing into the faster cars.
Another goal (to stay on topic lol) be able to slow the pony by .005 when needed so I can win a few of those close ones. Give Mary Ellen or Tom that .008 and they will send you home.
