What rear is in a 1995 corvette?

My brother has a 1995 vette which when he bought it 4 years back had already had work dont to it including a 4.10 ring & pinion. He has since replaced the engine and added a supercharger. He wants 3.54 gears. I figured because a typical set of motive ring & pinion gears for one of GM's quality designed 7.5" F body rears is around $189 it would be the same for a vette right? Wrong. I was looking into buying him a set for christmas because thats what my family does, give car parts in the dead of winter. So far I have it narrowed down to a dana 44 but I am unsure of the carrier series, just because he has 4.10's in in now are they thin or thick 4.10 gears? I dont know. Furthermore what brand gears do I buy and from who Dana? How much are those? Does anyone have a suggestion?

If the car is automatic it came from the factory with a dana 36, and if it came with a 6 speed it would have a dana 44

* 2.59 is the standard ratio for all automatics.

* 3.07 is an option, G44, but was standard for 85-88 L98 manuals.

* 3.31 and 3.33 popped up from time to time, too.

* 3.45 is the standard rear for ZF6 LT1s and ZR1.

* 3.54 was offered off and on for the ZR1 and the LT1. Beyond that, it's anybodies guess.

If your brother has a D44 chances are its a 3 series, and doesn't use a thicker gear.

this company offers 3.54 for a d44. As with most C4 parts its pricey
