window problem...
hey guys,
had a little issue going to work and from work today with my window...it wont go down. its weird because it worked a few days ago perfectly. the only thing i can think of that was different than two days ago was that ice storm..is it possible for ice to get in there and freeze up the gears? maybe the rubber track freezes up? anyone have any experience with this happening in cold weather before i rip the door panel off this weekend? thanks for any help in advance.

Usually ice. Kick the heat up and see what happens in a day or so.

Can you hear the motor trying to move the window at all? The switches are known for breaking as well.

Happens to me only when it's cold though. Never thought anything of it, I rarely have a need to roll down the windows when it's cold out

I've had it happen once or twice. It was after scraping the ice off of all the windows. The window would drop down a smidge then stop.
