Clicking & Vibration
I purchased a set of TT2's. Since I installed them I've had a vibration typically from 60-70, then it gets quite a bit worse above 75. The whole car shakes whether I am on or off the gas.
I've also noticed a clicking sound while driving, mainly above 25 MPH and while next to a highway median.
I'm assuming this is a driveshaft u-joint as well as a balance issue with the wheels? I've had the front wheels rebalanced after adding new tires. The rears are down to the wear marks so I'll be getting new tires soon & having them balanced.
Any other ideas or things to look at? Thanks....

Certianly sounds like a wheel/tire balance issue. I would not change anything else until I got the tires and wheels squared away.

If it started after you had the wheels put on it is a wheel/tire issue. Does the steering wheel shake or the floor? You can try rotating front to back and see if the vib changes. if so you found your problem.

Wheel weights catching the calipers or wheels/tires catching the inner fender liner?

Yea, I would agree with adam that something is likely hitting somewhere to cause the click. Worn u joints don't typically keep making noise while continuously under load. What size was your previous set of wheels / tires, and what sizes are the new ones?

Thanks much guys.
Former set was 17x? (stock TA wheels) with 245" tires all around.
Current set is 17x11" rear with 315/35R17's and 17x9.5" fronts with 245/45R17's TT2's.
Can't swap front to rear unfortunately. The vibration is really the entire car, but is pronounced in the steering wheel as well. Really annoying. Strangely enough, my last set of TT2's did this on my Z28. Car is at home since it snowed today or I'd pull it in the shop here at work and check the u-joints, etc. I'm trying to find a set of tires for the rear, then I'm having a 4 wheel alignment done. I'm hoping the new tires & alignment fix the issue..

Its most likely the tire balance especially with the rears being nearly bald. Your old tt2s were out of balance

Yes
Clicking could even be an exhaust leak developing.

I've had exhaust leaks in the past (see being a 6 Jeep owner - as you know!). Definitely not that kind of tick. It's as if someone took a zip tie and put it on my driveshaft I'd check (as we do that around here) but the TA is too low for anyone to climb under.

Clicking could be a few things, but get the balance fixed for now.

Sounds dumb but make sure the tick isn't a nail in any of the tires. It happens.
