So I was getting a little discouraged looking for a decent 7,000 used truck. Looked at 10 yes 10 different trucks drove North and south even all the way out to Easton PA to find that everyone Lies and thinks you can't see the waves and damage from the accident that is not on their clean car fax.
I did my homework late last night knowing this is the best time to buy late july early august when 2013 cars are rolling in. So I connected to see what GM employee benefits I had left looking for a short term lease on possibly the Chevy Cruze.
Yup well it turns out that GM employees get an extra $2500 on top of the other normal lease incentive of $1,500 on a Chevy Traverse. Perfect car to keep the wife happy.
So a scaled down only a few options in it I drove out with $2200 down in total including all taxes tags etc. and $201 payments for the next 24 months on a $42,000 sticker priced crossover.
The original deal was $189 down and 24 payments of $189 for the Base base model LS so add a couple grand for the options in the model I got and add all the taxes then you have the numbers I payed. Still good deal It worked out same price as a basic Cruze. Beats getting a phone call from my wife to find out that the beater $7,000 truck I would have bought is broken down.
I have bought several new cars and even worked as a new car salesman back in the day and Global automall in greenbrook rt. 22 made it best experience I have had yet to my surprise. My sales guy was great even though he only gets a flat $250 for selling to a former GM employee.
