Eaton m90

Last week my buddy managed go blow up his mustang that has a m90 on it and told me that if I could find the manifold to mount it on my car I can have the blower since he's going whipple crusher. I understand that there is a lot more to it than just the manifold but that's my main concern right now so I can get the charger and go from there. I'm wondering if anyone had some insight on getting this project rolling or where I could even think of starting the search for a manifold.

What do you have now? V8 5.7L car? If so, it's way too small. And a ton of work.

Yea it's a ls1. I had a feeling it would be kind of small I've seen it done on the V6 bsfore. I just want to know if it's been done before so I can have some kind of idea what's involved or if anyone has a build thread of anything similar, even though roots chargers are practically impossible on these cars without cutting which isn't an option.

Well, based on its size I'd bet it would not be a good fit right out of the gate. JMO.

And i very much agree on the fact that a maggie would be a better fit but i cant argue with free especially when it comes to things that arent cheap. For a 21 year old paying for school, gas, and a bunch of other crap free is a God send

You would spend more money trying to get it to work, than you will gain for the money spent.

Check post 64 on the tech thread. General consensus is the m90 is too small for a 5.3... 5.7 would be even worse and not worth the effort at all
