I'm going to try to make the meet since I live close by. Right now I'm a maybe pending my ever-changing work schedule.
Question: how long you guys usually stay once inside the restaurant? just wondering, have somewhere to be later that night..

Anywhere from 2 hours to never leaving. Usually quite a long time, but you can leave early...

I'm almost positive I can go and with a little luck I'll bring my Firebird.

Oh, my dad said he's in as well so it's gonna be me +1.
I'm praying for no more snow so I can finally get my car out of the garage and make some much needed adjustments to the porportioning valve and get her registered.

Hmmm, depends. I'll have to wait and see if I wake up with the "I feel like driving to East Rutherford" mood

Does anyone have good directions to this? I see there is a Lowe's listed on Rt 17, is the Chili's near the Lowes and can you get to it directly off Rt 17 north?

Jeff, I got this:
9: Keep LEFT to take I-95 N/NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE N toward I-280/RT-3/MEADOWLANDS SPORTS COMPLEX/EXITS 15W-18W/GEO WASHINGTON BR (Portions toll).
10: Merge onto NJ-3 W via EXIT 16W toward RUTHERFORD.
11: Merge onto NJ-17 N toward RUTHERFORD.
Sounds pretty straightforward

Yeah, but Google and Mapquest both show different ending points. Google has you making a right onto Broad Street which looks like it's not a turn off from Rt17. The Lowes is listed as 150 Rt 17 as well so it's probably in that complex.

for the directions question...yes, chilis and lowes are in the same stripmall complex..so directions to lowes is fine. lowes is one whole side of the stripmall...chilis is on the other (a bit more 'north' on route 17)...but the entrance is all the same. hope that helps.
