88 gta 350 tpi engine UPDATE**

im thinking of selling the 350 tpi motor out of my 88 gta parts car. i was going to keep it but i have other motors and no room. Â*Im not sure if i should sell the tpi seperate from the block or as a package deal. Â*The car has 154,xxxmiles so i'd recommend a rebuild just to be on the safe side. Everything is stock. Â*

TPI SETUP..SOLD

I would sell the long block for 200, thats complete from oil pan, to exhaust manifolds, to starter, to valve covers. Â*the roller cam components are worth almost half the asking price alone, it also includes the water pump. Â*It also has engine oil cooler.

The serpentine belt drive setup would be available for $100, that includes everything, all accessories with brackets and bolts.( alt a/c compressor smog pump power steering and water pump)

i'll be around almost anytime this coming saturday or next week, just let me know when is best for you. I'm in Closter, not far at all. Do you just want the tpi setup, or everything? If just the tpi, i'll pull it off tomorrow before i pull the motor out of the car. And I see you have a camaro which i assume youd be putting it in, so i'll include the dual snorkle style camaro air intake and boxes instead of the trans am one whch goes to the passenger side.

well, if maroman88 just wants the tpi, for 200 bucks you can have a 350 if you are serious.

Social Networks:

Are those 350's a 4-bolt main or 2-bolt? And thats a Speed Density motor right?

Im kinda interested, but I really dont have the money to spend on it on top of a full rebuild.

f body blocks are all 2 bolts, vettes are 4. This is Maf tpi. Speed density is 90-92(map sensor). 85-89 are MAF. Speed denisty needs reburning for most mods, Maf accepts mods better, or so ive been told. I have SD on my monte just cause it looks cleaner and wont be getting modded more than it is now.

***The water pump(reverse direcion) will go with the belt drive not the block***

I think if no one is interested in the block, i'm going to rebuild it myself like I did with my monte motor. Only cost me about $400. I already have a rebuildable L98 350 motor thats .040 over so that would be a spare. (also have a complete 305, damaged Ls1, and 6.0L block taking up space now, plus 3 turbo 350 trannys, a ford t5, and a fwd eclipse trans.)

Once out, the motor and serpt. belt drive will be put up on eBay.

If I pick up this 88TA, I would be interested in the 350 with the belts. Is it still available? Plus if you have another TPI setup with the correct ECM I would be interested in that as well.
