I would think by now there would be all kinds of info on the subject across the interweb.

I remember reading about this stuff on TGO a while ago.

Good luck! Nice engine in a relatively light car.

I know there is TONS of info about that swap in the Hybrid section on LS1Tech. Too bad cranholio isn't around anymore....he has a very clean LS1 swap into an 83(?) Camaro.

Well, like I said...cranholio has done the swap, but I haven't seen him here in ages.

AFAIK, no one else here has ever done the swap. Didn't mean to come off as rude....

just my opinion, but while you have the motor out or on a stand, you should look into maybe swapping to newer style heads and changing to rod bolts.

several companies make the mounts needed, some also make a 3rd gen k member i believe just for an LS1. In this case, a tubular is your best choice due to the extra room it gives you. There are also a few places i think that make t56 crossmembers for the swap. Check out Hawks third gen, i think they sell all the conversion parts.

on LS1tech there are a ton of people who have done the swap. jsut do a search and you will find all the wiring diagrams you need and even how to make your own swap motor mounts.
only bitch is exhaust. you are stuck with the stock manifolds, custom pipes if you are a fabricator, or paying out the ass for swap headers.
