new from south jersey
hey guys, i've been looking on this forum for a little while now and decided to join up. i've seen some of the guys on this forum before, never really talked to any of you guys tho. some of you may know me from TST
i've wanted a ws6 TA for probably 8 years now, now i'm finally looking to buy one. my plans for the car are to have a very fun weekend car. eventually i plan on going turbo and shooting for about 500-600whp. when i first get the car i'm gonna do all the n/a mods i can do. heads, cam, intake manifold, tb, lid, headers, full exhaust and clutch. i'm gonna pull the motor when i get it to check everything over and get used to working on this platform.
i plan to drag and autocross the car, how do these cars handle tight autox courses?
i currently have a 01 saturn sc2 and a 97 saturn sc1. the sc2 is turbo and is my daily driver, which will stay my dd after i get a TA, but i will take the turbo off and return it to stock.
my 97 is my current track car, went 12s last year on a 50 shot, and due to tons of bad luck this year i wasnt able to get a good run down the track. car was much faster this year then last, def good for a low 12.
really dirty in this picture, went to a drift event at etown the day before autox and got stuck going through some mud and big puddles.
and a side note, any of you guys in the south jersey area, come out to our best buy meet on nixon drive in mt laurel. right across from the moorestown mall. we still have about 30-40 cars even in the cold weather, and over the summer we had over 200 for a couple weeks. this summer we are hoping for 300, so please, come out and invite everyone.
DO NOT DO ANY BURNOUTS, REVVING OR ANYTHING TO CAUSE UNWANTED ATTENTION

F-bodies can be set up to handle great. They trail brake well thanks to a light rear end, so if you are looking for a car that you can get rotating in a tight autocross setting, you have come to the right place.

Im all about the modding on the sl2 but there were some cars there that need a lot of TLC... I think my buddy snapped a pic cause he was laughing at some guy that put a ricer exhaust on a v6 stang i think.... but ya turbosaturns.net RIP.... If you need some help with the saturn let me know, my buddy does megasquirt and swapped out just about anything you can think of and has another turbo saturn in the works.

who is it? nate, josh, chris? my guess is nate cause he knows a lot about MS. lol the saturn community is very small. TSN was the best, but 6s is good now.
