Wheel ideas
I need some thoughts on wheels for the car. Looking to change it up in the next year. Car will have koni/stranos.
IMO it needs chrome wheels, or polished aluminum but I hate the upkeep no that for a car I drive so little. I don't think grey/black would look right.
Thoughts? Looking to go to 17s or 18s. Not against OEM but wouldn't mind something different. I do really like the overall style of these wheels, just have too much sidewall.

I should've clarified that I can't justify dropping half a car's value on wheels and tires , as much as I love me some Fikse

I think whatever you get needs to be some shade of silver.

Great price too.

Please for the love of god no more Vette replicas. I agree chrome or silver would look great on your car. I know Scott & Jake both have Forgestar wheels which are pretty reasonably priced for a new and unique wheel. I plan on getting F14's myself in the near future. http://www.modbargains.com/forgestar-wheels.htm

A good set of chrome 17" ZR1s will always fit this style car. Having a budget would be helpful to determine how far into the aftermarket one searches.

I would say somewhere $1500-$2000 including tires, but considering I'm not doing anything soon there's room for some movement. I just wanted time to stew on it.
Obviously less is great but I'm pretty anal about having things nice so the odds of finding used wheels fitting that criteria are not good.

17" would be lighter with less tire options - cheaper if you use OEM wheels instead of aftermarket. 18" would have less sidewall and would ride a tad rougher - but the tradeoff is better tire selection. 275-40-17 or 275-35-18 both work perfectly on 4th gens.
