Amp and sub in Gen4 'vert

I had Pioneer DEH-470MP head unit installed w/ 4 compact three ways in the factory positions but would like more blast. Cannot decide on placement of amp and woofers. Has anyone installed amp and woofers in trunk of the car? which amp is good and what woofer? I don't want to fill up the trunk w/ equip. Is there a better place for the amp in the convertible?

Not positive on the hatch / trunk setup for a 4th gen 'vert, but you could probably get a stealth box for a single 10" sub that will give you a very nice increase in thump.

Our amp is on the floor of the trunk.

Thanks Guys. I guess the trunk is where it will all go. I'll check out that 10" stealth woof too.

I have one of their amp racks in my car. looking at the design, it's not hard to make on your own anyway

I have a loaded sub box from my old 00' SS Vert that I would be willing to sell. It may be overkill for what your looking for though. The box fits in the Vert trunk well and is loaded with 2 diamond audio 12's. This box POUNDS as long as you have a good amp. Let me know if your interested and I'll get some pics.

I have my 6-disc alpine changer and a small V12 amp sitting right to the right of the convertible manual top access panel. The amp is stacked on the changer and the whole assembly is mounted right there. Subs are in an enclosed box facing the floor of the trunk. It doesn't take up the whole trunk but then again, I don't put much in there anyway. I'll get a pic posted tonight if I remember.
