Finally Got My New Interior Pics Uploaded
 

After about 4 weeks I finally finished my interior restoration and uploaded the pics to the company website. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Nah I like mine the way it is now. virtually nothing. When you had the rear cargo area out was their two half primered spots?

and what tool do I need to get the passanger side plastic off where the rear seat locks up?

Where your old plastic panels crumbling off, cause thats how mine are from sun damage. How can I fix that cause then Ill put them back in.

Nice. I remember completely gutting my 82 and installing one out of a low mileage 85. Added power mirrors & power seats. I never liked the way my (t-top) headliner came out though - and it was the only thing I farmed out. Man, being able to buy this stuff makes it nice.

There were no primered spots in my rear cargo area....just some gloss black sprayed over where the t-top hooks are on the rear panel.

To remove the side plastics I believe all you need is a phillips head screwdriver. My plastics were not crumbling, just faded. Which pieces do you need? I have a bunch of gray ones right now and you could always paint them to match if needed. Let me know and I'll cut you a deal.

Looks great Paul. With the new interior and dynamating, how's the car sound at speed? How has it affected the speaker clarity - do you feel like you are in a sound booth, or is there enough resonance with the interior trim to make it sound loud and clear?

I'm still considering dynamating in the intermediate future, but would like some opinions (good and bad) first.

There is a huge difference in roadnoise. The car is much quieter and actually feels more "solid" because of it. As for the speaker clarity....I don't really have the ear for that but I don't have the rattles I had from the bass before and I can tell you that I can hear the system loud and clear with the tops out at highway speed.
