eaton blower for 4th gen, no cutting or welding?
 
saw a GTO at the detroit auto show with a eaton roots style blower, wonder if it fits 4th gens with no cutting of the cowl and wiper linkage mods, hummmmmmm

wow i very highly doubt it, even if you could fit the unit itself under there, wont it put the throttlebody in the rear? if so i think the intake piping would be where you encountered a problem

I doubt it as well. Besides the hood clearance, GTOs have more room in the engine bay to begin with.

the throttle body remains in the front. There will have to be a shaft mounted on two pillow blocks with a pulley on either end so you can run a belt to teh balancer.

search ls1tech. its been done before. it required serious modification including lowering teh engine and cutting the cowl. not worth it IMO.

lmspeed's kit has very very little cutting involved. IIRC they have plates that lower the k-member a little bit so cutting is avoided.
