I never had to get rid of that much, but I have put gas in a steel bowl and let it sit in the sun. It evaporates rather quickly.

hmmm my suggestion = set it on fire... thats always fun

WildBillyT 04-13-2007 10:17 PM

Dilute it with better gas and run it through your lawnmower.

Savage_Messiah 04-14-2007 03:00 AM

step 1: find match

step 2: light match

step 3: throw match into gas

step 4: go "oh %^$#" and run

rscamaro73 04-15-2007 06:04 PM

Pour it down the driveway.....in small quanities....or if you have a back yard, pour it around your irritating brush/foliage you want rid of.

Or just do like I did....pour the whole damn thing out in the grass before it rains....

1QWIKBIRD 04-15-2007 07:01 PM

pour in with you used oil....a little at a time...and take it to your recycling center.....

NJSPEEDER 04-15-2007 08:20 PM

i usually use gas to kill the weeds in teh sidewalk in front of my house. it is also effective when used in combination with a match to declare total victory over any bee/hornet/wasp nest that may be around your house :)

Dark_Knight7096 04-16-2007 07:03 PM

I say you pull a Dukes of Hazard on it!!!

(From movie)

(Gasoline can out in distance, Bo fires lit arrow at it, gas can explodes causing Uncle Jessie and Luke to duck and turn to look at Bo)
Bo: BOOM SHAKALAKA!!

ar0ck 04-16-2007 07:08 PM

Shoot fireworks at it!

Take it somewhere that they repair lawn mowers, or Sears. We have gas disposal units. Just go in and ask the lawn and garden deptarment people.

One time last summer I just left old gas out in the sun and let it evaporate. However I wonder how bad that is for the environment :?:

What do you think vented fuel systems do every day?

Which is why they aren't vented anymore (they don't vent out).
