I never had to get rid of that much, but I have put gas in a steel bowl and let it sit in the sun. It evaporates rather quickly.

Dilute it with better gas and run it through your lawnmower.

step 1: find match

step 2: light match

step 3: throw match into gas

step 4: go "oh %^$#" and run

Pour it down the driveway.....in small quanities....or if you have a back yard, pour it around your irritating brush/foliage you want rid of.

Or just do like I did....pour the whole damn thing out in the grass before it rains....

i usually use gas to kill the weeds in teh sidewalk in front of my house. it is also effective when used in combination with a match to declare total victory over any bee/hornet/wasp nest that may be around your house

Take it somewhere that they repair lawn mowers, or Sears. We have gas disposal units. Just go in and ask the lawn and garden deptarment people.

One time last summer I just left old gas out in the sun and let it evaporate. However I wonder how bad that is for the environment

Which is why they aren't vented anymore (they don't vent out).
