You are going to get this a lot. Check with an adjustable pushrod.

But to even have somewhat of an idea need head specs (milled or not, which ones), gasket thickness, lifter being used

Need to check.

Haven't decided on what im doing heads wise yet but as of now im running stock 98 heads...depending on how the cash flow is I might grab a set of 243's and run them up to js for some work.

Yea sorry I forgot everyone on here's a mechanic....

Whoever is doing the work should check. The tools required to do so are not expensive.

I think the point is the right way is to do measurements first, then buy, regardless of who is assembling the engine. Buying in advance is wrong. I am sure your engine builder will do the measurements if he is any good.

If the person performing the work on your car does not measure the pushrod length TAKE YOUR CRAP AND FIND A NEW BUILDER IMMEDIATELY

For real, even us shady south jersey backyard builders check pushrod length. It's not something you can just guess and hope you're right... The risk of destroying your motor is not worth skipping such a simple task.

i think the point is made
