brakes look nice my man! plan on going with a similar 2 color job on mine |
Yes, Australian for caliper prop LOL. Thanks, the cleaning is the worst part, a bench mounted wire wheel (unshielded) helps alot! They are going to be super visible through the ZR-1's, so I just had to :)

did my vette ones the same colors, very nice!

Thanks maroman88! One more rear caliper left to do tomorrow...LS-1 brakes, ZR-1 wheels, and a replica SS hood all at once lol. I'll have to snap a few before and after pics. Very excited to finally sh@t can the salad shooters :)

i went all silver with mine.. i like the red look too but my car is white with z05 wheels and zink rotors.. so it came out cool.. nice job with he paint!
|
Thanks motortrendz! I was actually undecided and almost painted the caliper brackets silver myself...I was just too afraid of the added upkeep with the brake dust. I know it would have looked sweet though. After cleaning them down to the bare zinc, I very much considered seeing if high temp clear was available!

Gonna look sweet. Been meaning to do this on mine...
