Yes, Australian for caliper prop LOL. Thanks, the cleaning is the worst part, a bench mounted wire wheel (unshielded) helps alot! They are going to be super visible through the ZR-1's, so I just had to

Thanks maroman88! One more rear caliper left to do tomorrow...LS-1 brakes, ZR-1 wheels, and a replica SS hood all at once lol. I'll have to snap a few before and after pics. Very excited to finally sh@t can the salad shooters

Thanks motortrendz! I was actually undecided and almost painted the caliper brackets silver myself...I was just too afraid of the added upkeep with the brake dust. I know it would have looked sweet though. After cleaning them down to the bare zinc, I very much considered seeing if high temp clear was available!

I had a little "cheat" to make it easier, they are my LS calipers and a spare set of LT rears, my "cheat" being I didn't have to lay the car up...that's probably why you are having a hard time getting around to it, that's all. You'll do it eventually

My car has been paid up since december. Its just a combo of being to cold and working every day that keeps me from doing it. Gotta finish 1 project before I start another one like this
