understood. so how long does it have to be? 1 month? 6 months? 1 year? how long before we get their attention and get them to lower the price?
for those who weren't paying attention, there is no shortage of gasoline. the refineries have had to cut back to avoid a major over-supply, which would make the price nose dive in a hurry.
i still say if the whole country stopped buying gas for one week that would be enough to get them to drop the price. they may be greedy, but they'd know we were serious if we stopped for a week. then, for those of you that took the bus or car-pooled or however you got to wor, you would now have a new way to get to work. you wouldn't have to depend on your car anymore. that would curtail our usage even more and they'd be forced to drop the price to get us to use more. $4.00 a gallon is highway robbery. no one is going to step in on our behalf to put a cap on the price. remember, people like Bush are making money while the price is this high... why would he stop himself from making money?
