Blind faith nothing, the Camaro is by far the better looking and will be a better performing car then Challenger will. Hell, the V6 will be making 300hp. Thats matching the Mustang GT, on par with the LS1 cars, and probably could scare a few RT Challengers.
My point is that people are jerking off on this Challenger when it is in fact a big ass tank. This Challenger has less to do with the old Challenger and more to do with the British Battle tank.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is better looking to YOU, not necessarily everybody.
Take the G8 sport or whatever. I think the thing is WOLF ****ing ugly (there's your Aussie reference) and woundn't drive one if you gave it to me. Personally I think it's a terrible move to import it into the US and I think GM will take a bath. But others seem to like it, and think the opposite.
The porkiness is disturbing though. 4200 lbs is a hell of a lot- and I don't care what you say about suspension design and tire quality, that's a lot of force being thrown around during cornering.
