FYI guys, the car is SUPPOSED to do that. it has an active camber control system that tilts the wheels up to 20 degrees during hard cornering, similar to a motorcycle. it can generate 1.28 G's on the skidpad.

Okay, on a purpose built race car, its perfectly fine for the camber to be like that. on a normal street car, if you set the camber that radically you'd be going through tires at least once a month. The Benz is obviously not a race car so it looked horribly wrong to me.
thats a pretty neat system, the active camber control. I'm trying to picture how it works in my head. my guess is a motorized essentric on the bottom control arm. So as it demands more camber, the lower essentric (which is what connects the lower control arm to the frame) will rotate and sort of kick the lower control arm out more, thus giving it more negative camber. thats my guess, how close was I?

i read some stuff about the computer controlled camber/caster gain systems. they are insane, truely something that i hope works it's way into production applications. it is designed to be a modular system that can work with or independantly of other bosch based traction control systems.
the developers so far claim to have 4 concept vehicles that carry the system but don't expect anything mass production capable(10K+ units a year) for at least 2-3 more years.
i am sure one thing that will slow the development is that i can't find a single major racing series that this technology would be legal. these kinds of ideas usually come a long way very wuickly when someone can use them to win a championship
later
