i might like it better on a earlier 2nd gen, not a stock restored one, but a nicely modded one.

Too ricey for me. Although I could use something a little brighter than my 1 candlewatt headlights!

Too bad you want to keep her all OE. A few relays & some halogens go a long way.

Edit: Al, if you didn't do a relay setup, you should.

look at noah's car... they look SICK on his car, I didn't believe it till I saw it myself.

But here, maybe it's the stock yellows next to it or something, but my feelings are just..... no.

its just to much, maybe if it wasnt black and was on a wight car or some thing..

I was thinking of doing that relay thing, but im really not that good at electronics. If I do that, I also want to upgrade the dash lights to LED's, give it a more modern flare.

The headlights & dash are completly unrelated, work effort-wise. It's all underhood. You are running too much amperage through the old wiring & old switch, ones that are not built to handle it. Not to mention you probably do not have 12v at the lights themselves.

Yeah, you definitely want to run some relays with any extra lights or with high powered lights. It's actually pretty easy to do once you understand the concept.
