Liscense and registration...
And... MSD...?
Had a good day to work on the car so I did.. Dropped the passenger header to delete some pesky heat shielding that had been rattling, and in the process decided to do some cleaning. Deleted what was left of the cruise control and since the tire was off... took the MSD6AL that had been hiding in there and re wired it sooo its no in the glove box. Also mounted my coil finally onto the frame rail where the cruise control was. Good day of work. I have to wrap the wires in conduit where they run up over the passenger side wheel. But it was nice to get things organized.

Mine is in the engine bay so I can't hear it...though I didn't think I heard it singing Freebird once.

Hums, best way to describe it. If the radio is off, you can audibly hear it.

I've heard it before. Kind of like a buzzing noise. I'm not sure if it's normal or not.

No no. Like an electronic hum. And hitting it with a hammer would be bad, unless you wanna buy me the new digital 6AL.

My thoughts exactly. MSD techs recommend some form of air flow across it.
