All black TT II's
has anyone ever seen or done torque trust 2's in all black without the chrome lip? i'm thinking about doing it to change the look of my car a bit. also could someone photoshop it for me.

lol you dont have TT2's, you have TT-M's  i happen to think the chrome lip looks very very very very very very nice on your car. i might be a bit biased though

I think I recently saw a set on ebay or in the appearance section of Tech; guy had the entire thing powdercoated. Personally, I didn't like it. But I'd start checking those two places for pics if no one here has one saved.

well then give me some ideas... i can powdercoat pretty much whatever and i have the option of nickle plating, but not chroming over the nickel. hmm maybe do a polished looks on the lip with the black?

I had a silver car with all black rims on it, I was happy my friend let me try them on before I bought them, I gave them right back. They just dont look right! I like the black w/polished lip.

haha ... you have a good arguement i might be buying a set of old zr1 rims now to mess around with, they're all 9 or 9.5inch wide but i figure they're still something to play around with

one thing to photoshop is painting the lip black but leave that smaller ring around the outside of the rim polished, my wheels are like that - here's a pic:
