Waste om money. You can build a bad ass motor for 10,500 as apposed to a bare block, that you will then need to stuff with an extra expensive rotating assembly and massive heads

I have a few NASCAR tour modified buddies that are willing to help with the build, they are pushing 800 HP on their motors but they are not lsx specific.

Also I hope you have a car with a lot of chassis work done to it for this motor. That 10 bolt aint gonna cut it . If you wanna make a serious drag car, get a certed 25.2 cage, beefy rear, and lots of other expensive chassis pieces and have at it. Just not sure if you are on an average American's budget or a Colombian coke dealers budget...

Yeah I don't know if a six figure salary will cut it but my first project has taken me four years to complete, and I see this one taking even longer

I see it being a 6 figure build if you want to go real fast. If you just want a big ass block, buy it and build it mild as hell.

Oh well, it will all come together one day. Right now I'm more concerned about getting my 97' Z up and running with it's 396, still waiting on those damn headers and then off to the body shop it goes for a complete overhaul. Also I'm working on getting my thoroughbred race horse ready for this season of racing. 1400 pounds of sheer muscle going at 50 MPH is too pretty sick.
