				New car...

Thinking about buying a new car... the whole deal with a warranty and whatnot... what I've been looking at...
 Ford Fusion sport...

 Pontiac G8 GT...

I figure, I could find an 08 G8... but the sport model of the fusion I think is a 2010

 Any recomendations?

two different animals, chris. Personally I can't stand driving a FWD car. It's all on you. But if I had to choose personally, def. the G8

I'm not looking for a race car at all... have too many already, otherwise this would have been C6 vette or C5Z.

If your the kind of person that likes to get compliments about the car they drive, go with a G8. You should of seen the amount of people that were drooling over John's G8 at Atco on Tuesday night..

Off topic: never understood why.

the fusion > g8 in every category for me. if your not looking for a race car then get the fusion. you have enough lsx's.

 | Now I know never to take your opinon as serious.

Fusion is a meh car. The revision for 2010 is better, lots of options, but still a meh car. If I wanted an American midsizer, get the Malibu. Worlds better looking.
IF you were to look at a Ford comperable to the G8, look at the new Taurus. VERY good looking car, and quality is very high. Look at the pics I took from NYIAS, I have a few of teh SHO in there.

malibu isnt awd and im sure thats the drawing point for him to look at the fusion.
this is like comparing apples to oranges. if your looking for a 4 door mid-full size car then horsepower should need not apply. the g8 is probably an awesome car. its too and bulky in my opinion and in need of a major facelift.

on a side note. if they renamed the g8 the lumina ss and did the chevy fascias then i could see it drawing crowds that thing is niiiice!

I like the Pontiac nose better. That just looks like a badge job. The dual-port Pontiac grill looks better on the Commodore then any other facia, IMO.

I am looking for a 4 door car... but with some pep.
The AWD on the fusion is a selling point.

I'm pretty sure, if they made the SPORT in a 5 speed, it would be in the driveway right now.

Even on the ford forums I'm on, they are all saying G8 too.
