Audi S4s ?
anyone on here got one ? ive been debating on picking one of (B5 body, V6 TT) as a daily. i have a 01 a4 and i love it. handles the snow great and is really comfy. i have no problem driving it long distance. but its just not well "exciting" enough. im looking to spend 8-10 on one(also open to other options) but i think i nice TT 6 speed AWD car would be awesome. ive driven a few myself and love them. and there moderalty quick. my friends with a flashed computer and exhaust pulls on my buddys lightning.
so does anyone on these boards have one ?

If you're serious about buying one, instead of waiting for a CTSV1, then I'll refer you to a local who's had a dozen, runs a euro-based forum, and is constantly buying/selling B5 and B6 S4s.
*Edit*
But seriously, just get a V1. LS6 with T56. Drive jeep those 5 days a year when the snow's too thick/roads aren't plowed yet.

not really a fan of subys, and the people around me that have evos, have made me hate them. great cars and can be fast with a ton of work, but you can tell by my activness on the forum that i like to get into the social part of owning a certain car, and EVERY person i know with is evo thinks there **** is the baddest thing out there.

I've had a few friends that have owned them, the conclusion is they are fun cars but maintenance is a PIA.. they tell me the parts are super expensive and working on them is a b****
I love S4s, but I wouldn't want to own one for a daily.
My buddy picked up a Silver B5 S4 and ended up having issues with the turbos amongst other things, was very costly to him.. and parts aren't easy to come by.

My good friend's brother has one. I believe it has a stage 3 APR turbo kit as well. Unfortunately, he drives it about once a year so I never got a ride despite my persistent requests, but supposedly the thing is silly fast and handles amazingly. They have a cult-like following on Vortex but are troublesome. His has been a headache.
An issue you wouldn't really expect with that car is theft. Because of the desirability of the drivetrain, they are frequently stolen. His was stolen and recovered once or twice I believe. If you want me to get more info, I can.
