Figured I'd let the cat out of the bag now lol

Just the reason my car has been down for the past few weeks. I have been having a few goodies installed.

- Custom Comp Cam
- Ported 241 heads
- 30 lb. injectors
- Moser 12 bolt

I should have the car back by wednesday or thursday at the latest. I couldn't keep this down any longer

I will be driving home saturday morning for my 20 day vacation home in IL. Gotta wait till I get back to hit atco. Though I will be testing the car at GIR back home for the best launch techniques.

Was that all supposed to be a secret?

Can't wait to see this beast now.....there had better be plenty of advance notice for your first trip to Atco with the new setup.

who's heads & what size cam? a larger stall might be in order depending on how large a cam you ended up with...i think that vert you had in there was small for that 228 cam.

Well, we'll see how weak it is at the track. The specs are just a little bit bigger than my old cam

This set-up is made for my 3600 stall. Details are confidential

unfortunatly most ls1 head/cam cars make peak tq at around 5000 rpms so unless your going back to the stock cam there arent many cams "made" for your 3600 stall

If you got a decent cam (228-232 range) and good heads you will see a big bump in torque, My guess with a 3600 Stall he has something in the 228-230 range and about .585 lift, that would make for a nasty combo witht hat stall. a 242/242 with over .600 lift would run poorly on the street in a stock bore engine, you would lose all your bottom end power.
My guess:

230/230 .585/.585 112LSA

It's all about the combo, and mine has been proven on the 4 cars before mine that have the same set-up.

A 3600 stall is still a pretty good number for both street and track. I'm guessing something in the 240/ .590 lift range. Sounds like a nice setup, can't wait to see it run
