seriously thinking about selling my car
well, as some of you already know, thursday night i got a flat tire. just looking at tire prices, i've come to the realization that i really can't afford a hi performance car right now. i'm a college student with no job, and hardly any savings - it just doesn't make financial sense for me to keep this car right now.
it's come down to two choices - i can either fix everything that's wrong with it and have no money, or sell the car and be relatively comfortable finacially. the first choice just isn't worth it considering how much i actually drive the car. and if anything else went wrong after that, i'd be **** out of luck.
anyway, if anyone is interested, or knows someone who is interested in buying a relatively clean, low mileage (53k) ls1, let me know.
even if i end up selling the car, i'll still be an active member of the club. and i'm sure i'll be back in an f body eventually.

i do have a few pictures. hold on and i'll find them.
i have no idea how much i'm asking, i haven't completely officially decided to sell it yet. blue book puts it between $8500 - $9500. so most likely somewhere around there. the body isn't in perfect shape, but the interior has been kept really clean.
if you're really interested, email me (nycepants@hotmail.com) or IM me (nycepants)

my opinion if it matters, keep the car its gorgeous....you cant afford it now?....no job?......take i off insurance, put a cover on it...geta on campus job at school make some money put it aside, i mean id rather not drive the car fro like a year and save up some money by working my ass of for a few months then selling the car then regreting it later, and if it you cant drive it if you take it off your insurance at least you can start it n hear the beauty purr

Sell the car, and get some cheap beater for now. You can always get back into one later when you've finished school and have a steady income. Plenty of people here have no F-body (myself included) and simply enjoy talking about our favorite rides. After two years without a Firebird I'm about to hop back into one. Just have patience and remember the old saying - distance doth make the heart grow fonder.

Wanted this - , but ended up with this - for free. Can't argue with free.
