I've been up North Jersey since Friday afternoon for several reasons. First was to go the the Dyno Day @ TTP which is only 20 mins from my parents house,, second to put the car in their for the winter and third and most importantly to help them with shoveling the snow (my dad had a double Bi-Pass back in August). So when they drove me back down the shore to my apt (I live on one side of a two family house) this afternoon I was expecting the driveway of the apt to be plowed (I purposely left my daily driver in the parking lot of my office so my area of the driveway was clear). When we got there nothing was done. I went over to my landlord's house (They live across the street) to ask them when they thought they might be doing it because I wanted to make sure my car was out of the way. She says to me "We don't shovel the snow, that's your responsibility" I asked if it was in the lease...I really didn't care or mind if I had to do it, but I did want to find out if it was stated in the lease. She says "it should be I've been making sure I've been putting it in lately" and the excuse for not doing it any longer is that her husband got a new job and doesn't have the time....I understand that but then hire someone to do it! I went and found my lease and it says nothing of the sort! I shoveled it anyway plus did my neighbors area (he's 80 years old). What just set me off was about 5 mins ago I here a shovel scraping on the porch outside that lasted like 3 mins and then he knocks on my neighbors door and says "Don, I shoveled for you" What an ASSS!!!! He shoveled, I shoveled everything!! I even shoveled the guys car out and the landlord probably took credit for that too.
