I used to go down there all the time. If you go fridays you could sometimes get good deals, my dad picked up a nice thunderbird for half of what it was worth. I heard Chip Foose was there and all...didnt go this year, though, wish i did.

Not sure which one you're talking about. The fourth gen? There were 2 first gens in that color combo as well. Either way I didn't hear any of them. I loved the red Yenko clone with the 572 in it though!

I heard all of the Yenko cars were clones and quite a few cars weren't restored very well. I didn't make it so I can't comment but AC usually doesn't have too many top flight cars.

Yes they were all clones. In fact I've never seen so many Yenko and COPO clones at one time. You are also correct on the quality of most of the restorations. I saw maybe a dozen cars that impressed me. Although I was impressed in another way as well. Many of the cars looked like they are driven on a regular basis which always makes me smile a little. Afterall why have some of these cars unless you're going to drive them? I can see keeping certain rare cars off the road but not your ordinary Camaro and Mustang. It did give me a lot of hope for my resto business however. I know I can build a better quality car than most of the ones there.
