New York Yankees!!! UPDATED!!!

Hey all,

I have a friend that works for the Baltimore Orioles. Recently he got me an executive suite when I was down in Baltimore 2 weeks ago, and he's extended the offer to me for an executive suite at the Yankees - Orioles game during the series at the end of June (27-29). I can get a max of 12 seats he said, so I'm working on seeing who, out of my friends wants to go. I doubt I'll have the full 12, so I'm extending the offer to my "extended" group of friends.

If anyone is interested, please let me know which date works best for you. All games start at 7:05 PM, so also figure 3 - 4 hours of driving time down to Baltimore. As well, you should plan on staying afterwards for some hardcore drinking in Baltimore that night!

PS: No gurantees I will be able to get everyone a spot.

Man, if it wasn't during the week I'd be all over it. lemme know if he gets another yanks/os series, preferably a weekend series. I can go stay at my aunt's for the night who lives 10 minutes away

Sorry, the only other Yanks/Orioles series is in September... which he probably won't be able to get them for cause the teams will be feuding for playoff spots by that point. Why can't you make it during the week?

I work? Starting new job, won't be able to take time off that early. No way I can go to the game and then drive back and make it to work the next day, let alone take off early the day of the game.

What day is good for you? Everyone's schedule seems hectic that week so I think it's gonna have to be a majority wins date. I myself can go any of those days lol.

I am ruling out the 27th, cause it seems the 27th isn't really good for anyone...

So I'm narrowing it down to the 28th or 29th...

I have a current list of interest of about 6 - 8 people... so there is room for a few more if I can get the full 12 seats.

I'll be e-mailing my buddy with the final count on either Monday or Tuesday so please post or shoot me an PM or IM or whatever by then.

Got in touch with my friend today...

JUNE 28TH IT IS!!!

So... now we start planning out carpooling and whatnot... all I know is I don't want to make the drive to Baltimore lol... I wanna sleep in the backseat... so someone gets to cart my ass down!

I am editing the first post to make a master DEFINITE list of interest... also so I can keep a tally of how many seats are available and what not... so if you are DEFINITELY available to go for the 28th, post reply that you are going.

count me in for sure. my car doesn't seat a lot fo people, realistically only 1 for teh passenger seat and 1 spread across teh back seat. unless there are any midgets going. then i can fit 2 in the back seat. lol
