I want to be like Jersey T/A.... so I picked on a truck last
So, only about 90 miles on the new set up, I'm still learning it.
Old Times with the 3:23's and ProYank 3200
New set up, 4:10's and Super Street 4,000+
Drag shocks set to all loose.
Drag radals on
Full tank of gas
I'm cruising along... in my own world.
A Ford Lightning pulls up next to me, rev's and takes off.... I'm like... ok, nice for you.
Next light, he does it again....Again I'm like whoop de doo
Third light, I glance over, smile.... light goes green and flash the converter to 3,500 and dead hook.
Needless to say:
3050 pound car + 4:10's + 4,000+ converter vs.
Heavy @ss stock truck = smiles for me.
I just layed into it for 1st and 2nd gear, put several car lengths on him and let off. He no longer pulled up next to me.
I can't wait to hit the track and get a nice 4,000+ rpm launch
Then we shall spray.

Sounds like you shut him up nicely, however you are no longer being like Rob. He has decided to make severe cutbacks in his street racing career....

That is right, believe it or not. No more street racing unless it's on a very secluded back road. No more racing on major roads for me.
